Red Fern Ranch LLC started the way most perfectly reasonable businesses do: on a ranch, somewhere between veterinary work, raising four kids, feeding a small army of animals, and apparently deciding there simply weren’t enough things to do.
What began as making better bath and home products turned into a full-blown obsession with ridiculously good soap, luxurious lotion, clean-burning candles, wax melts, and anything else we can make smell fantastic without filling it with unnecessary garbage.
Around here, we believe everyday products don’t have to be boring.
Soap should make your skin happy. Candles should smell incredible without smoking out the living room. Ingredients should be chosen with intention. Packaging shouldn’t make the planet cry. And product names should occasionally make you snort-laugh in public.
Everything at Red Fern Ranch is made in small batches with quality ingredients, a healthy amount of perfectionism, and just enough questionable humor to keep things interesting. We’re big believers in products that feel luxurious without taking themselves too seriously.
Red Fern Ranch is home to our family—two adults attempting to maintain order, four kids actively preventing that from happening, seven horses, three dogs, four sheep, chickens, and one ox who contributes absolutely nothing to production but remains employed anyway.
It’s loud. It’s muddy. Something always needs fed. Something else has escaped. There is probably hay where hay should not be.
And somewhere in the middle of all of it, we’re making soap.
We believe in small batches, good ingredients, local community, hard work, and having standards.
We believe you deserve products made by actual people who care what goes into them.
We believe luxury can still be practical, approachable, and funny.
And we firmly believe there is no reason your soap needs to have the personality of a beige hand towel.
Red Fern Ranch is proudly made in Ellensburg, Washington, surrounded by livestock, kids, dogs, mountains, and an impressive amount of dirt.

Our cold-process soaps are handcrafted in small batches using thoughtfully selected oils and ingredients for a rich, creamy lather and a bar that feels as good as it smells.
They cleanse without acting like they’re trying to strip the paint off a barn.
Some are bright and fruity. Some are smoky and sophisticated. Some contain activated charcoal and look like they know things about you.

Our candles are hand-poured in small batches using 100% coconut soy wax for a clean, beautiful burn and excellent fragrance throw.
